The staff was very friendly and helpful, our apartment/cottage was very nice, and we had an amazing view from our large terrace. We could rent mountainbikes of an acceptable quality for €5,- per day for getting around.

Kind of isolated (esp. from food etc.) if you don't bring your own transportation, but the bikes you can rent help a lot, and to be fair that applies to many (if not most) parts of the island.

The hotel is in a good location, away from road traffic, and with a nice lay-out - small buildings well integrated in the nature -. the apartments are quite new, have nice terraces (exposed north-east however), and kitchens are well equipped. Room service comes daily. From there all locations are easily accessible, in particular the nice village of Porto Azzurro and the Lacona beach. Hotel staff is available to accomodate your requests as possible.

The cleaningless of the apartment can be substantially improved, especially the kitchen. Breakfast availability is miles away from being up to international standards, unless you are not satisfied with a quick espresso coffee.

Towels not changed everyday (need to ask); soap/shampoo not renewed every day (need to ask); bed sheets changed every 3 days ; end-of-stay cleaning fee (30€) due even if you keep it clean, this is not seen usually in hotels.

Ideally located between Portoferraio and Porto Azurro (golfcourse next to the apartments) - also perfect as base for exploring the island by bike

location is upside the hill, not far from Portoferraio (15 min drive to ferryboat). lovely view to the lagoon. very nice modern appartments. a lot of additional opportunities at the island (rent a car, rent a boat, horse ride lessons etc.).

was not an issue for us, but just a point to consider - please mention you need transportation to get to the beach (but this is clear from the map and description).

Very good apartments to good price. Very nice and friendly staff, englishspoken. We used the place as a center for discovering Elba with a motorbike. Calm and beatiful place in the hills, easy to reach, about 7 km to both Portoferraio and Porto Azurro.

In the description of the hotell, it says "Enjoy free Wi-Fi in communal areas" but it´s NOT accessible 24 hours. Only to about 19:30 in the evening, and than they shut it off, because the staff go home, and thats I dont call Free Wi-Fi. Hope they will change it in the future.

Everything was perfect, we were very surprised cause we had expected the 2stars hotel - as it is advertised on the Booked.net, now we think that it deserves at least 4stars...very nice apartment with modern equipment and a quite large terasse, each apartment has a view on the see and the mountains on Elba. We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel, and after we saw the accomodation possibilities on Elba, we can surely recommend this hotel to everyone.

There is a mandatory 30 euro cleaning charge. Great place to stay only if you intend on going to bed early and staying very quiet.

Excellent, a little expensive but it was high season in Elba , staff v friendly, safe and pleasant location, great facilities.

Loved our stay at Elba Golf Apartments (2 adults in our group)! Clean, contemporary interiors, beautiful vista from welcoming deck, nice shower, mid-island location made exploration convenient. We needed a car which is easily rented near the ferry station in Portoferrario or we had delivered to us by twn Rentals. Fresh produce markets a short distance away as well as a grocery store. Receptionist spoke English which was helpful in clarifying our questions. We would definitely return again.
